Description

Busy ten person Clifton, NJ CPA firm is seeking a seasoned tax/financial accountant with 7+ years of experience. Tax work includes preparing and reviewing partnership returns, multi-state returns, S and C Corp returns, high net worth individual returns and trust and estate Forms 1041.  Financial accounting work includes compilations, reviews, and preparation of financial statements with full footnote disclosure.  Excellent analytical skills are a must. Familiarity with the construction industry, experience with LaCerte and tax research engines such as Checkpoint are a plus.  This is potentially a partnership track position for the right candidate.

Alternatively, we would consider two separate individuals for the position described above. If you have 3+ years of financial experience in compilations, reviews and financial statement preparation for clients in the construction industry, we welcome your application. We also welcome your application if you have extensive tax experience (10+ years) and can review all of the return types indicated above even if you are missing the financial statement experience.

On site work is preferred at the start of employment, with a hybrid option offered at a later date.
